 (Monday-Tuesday).

Below is our 2008 agenda as a sample for your information.

You are invited by USDA and the Agriculture Transportation Coalition to join us at the Idaho Ag Summit for the Boise Ag Shipper Workshop

Ocean, rail, and truck transportation challenges are increasing costs and threatening domestic and export agriculture profits and sales. What are your transportation concerns? All agriculture shippers and forwarders of all commodities are encouraged to participate. We meet in roundtable format for a frank discussion. Raise your concerns, get your questions answered, hear how other ag shippers are dealing with these problems. Informal and off the record (no press, no carriers).

Issues to be addressed:  Ocean Carrier Service and Costs; Rail Challenges; Trucking; Looming Crisis at the Ports; Transportation Corridors; Wood Packing Materials; Other issues and local concerns
