You are invited by the Idaho State Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Transportation Coalition, and the Larry Branen Idaho Ag Summit to join us for the annual Idaho Ag Shippers
Workshop
Federal and state transportation issues and costs are a major factor for Idaho agriculture. Transportation challenges face Idaho agriculture interests and exporters are grappling, at times, with crippling shortages of ocean containers.
We have assembled a team of experts from the federal and state level to share insights, make projections and answer your tough questions. Following the morning presentation, we will meet in a roundtable format and answer questions over lunch. Peter Friedmann, Executive Director, Agriculture Transportation Coalition in Washington DC, will facilitate the presentations and discussion.
Any agriculture group, organization or business in Idaho that is directly involved with transporting Idaho commodities and products within and outside the State are encouraged to attend. Transportation is a costly input for products, and the goal of the Idaho Agriculture Shippers Workshop is to address some of the issues that are on the front burner related to transportation.
